2024-2025 Fall Programs
Registration for Fall Programs (Track Rascal and Older) will open on September 1, 2024. When registering for programs, athletes will have to be current members of BC Athletics. The registration form has a link to the BC Athletics membership registration. Prior members will be able to renew their membership, and new athletes will be able to take out a BCA membership. Be sure to select Kamloops Track and Field Club as your affiliated club.
Track Rascal athletes must take out a Track Rascal membership. JD (9-13) and older athletes are encouraged to register for a Competitive Membership with BC Athletics. Once you have completed our registration with BCA, you need to record your assigned number (this will be your BCA / Athletics Canada membership number for life, so it is important to use the same information that you used in the past to complete this.
After you have your number, return to the club registration form, enter your BCA number, and complete the rest of the club registration. Upon payment, you will be recorded in our club database for this season.
Mini-Track Rascals
Mini-Track Rascals are NOT able to take out a BCA membership. Their programs will be considered camps, and their insurance will be through a camp-sanctioning fee, paid by the club. Registration for this camp will open on September 1, 2024, through a link to Trackie set up only for Mini-Track Rascals (3-5 years of age).
2023 Dylan Armstrong Classic
The final schedules and Meet programs have been posted. Click on the link at the bottom of this excerpt.
The Dylan Armstrong Classic is our annual May meet (May 5-6, 2023) which is named for our Olympian Shot Put Bronze Medalist. It features most events for a full track and field meet. We have tried to keep the meet to Friday afternoon and Saturday.
2023 Manure Sale Information
The 2023 Kamloops Track and Field Club Manure Sale is getting ready to open. Orders can be made online or by using a paper order form.
The Garden manure is Mushroom manure and comes in 20-pound (just over 7 kg) bags. We are only offering free delivery with the purchase of over 20 bags, within the city of Kamloops.
2023 Kamloops Track and Field Club Pole Vault Clinic
Kamloops Track & Field Club is hosting a Pole Vault clinic/camp on Friday, April 21st, and Saturday, April
22nd, 2023.
The purpose of such a clinic/camp is to allow athletes and coaches to mingle and network with those of similar
interests – and hopefully learn something new in the process.
2023 Van Ryswyk Indoor / BC Masters Indoor Meet
The 2023 Van Ryswyk Indoor and BC Masters Indoor meet is scheduled for Friday, February 24 to Sunday, February 26 this year. We are getting ready to put on this meet, and are looking forward to many athletes registering.
2023 Gary Reed Meet
The 2023 Gary Reed Meet is ready to start collecting entries. The meet will take place at the Tournament Capital Centre in Kamloops on Friday evening, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4.
2nd Annual Christmas Challenge
Final Schedule – posted Dec. 15.
NOTE: We have added Pole Vault for athletes 13 and older on Saturday afternoon, after High Jump. As well we are adding the 4x100m relay event at the end of track events for 9-Masters athletes. Registration for this is on Saturday, Dec. 17.
Our second annual Christmas Challenge indoor meet will take place on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022.
